            A. Logical explanations called models derived by induction and/or deduction.

            B. Stages of models

                        1. Hypothesis: initial interpretation based on quantified observations

                        2. Theory: interpretation widely supported by others’ experimental data

                        3. Law: interpretation established by repetition of thousands of experiments over time.

 

3. Experimentation:

1. Repetition (for inductive conclusions)

2. Controlled variables comparison (for deductive conclusions).
