COURSES
Basic Bible Concepts
An examination of the foundational truths of the Scriptures, the faith once delivered to the saints, relative to God’s relationship with man, with emphasis on the Law through New Birth. (Mon. 7:00 p.m., Ken Francis, at MBBC) Starts Jan. 21.
Bible Survey
An overview of Bible history, and a brief introduction to each book including the theme, outline, highlights, and incidental issues, using Baxter’s Explore the Book. (Tue. 7:00 p.m. Brad Jones, at MBBC) Starts Jan. 22
Israel in Prophecy
An examination of currents events as they relate to Biblical prophecies of the nation of Israel in the latter days, (Tue. 7:00 p.m. Ron Rone at MBBC)
The Book of Romans
An expository study of the Apostle Paul’s great explanation of the gospel: how it saves the sinner, relates to Israel, and impacts the Christian life. (Thu. 7:00 p.m. Ken Francis. Call for location.) Starts Jan. 10
The Book of Revelation
A careful and detailed expository study of the Revelation of Jesus Christ with application to our personal lives. (Sun. 11:00 a.m. Brian Disney, at MBBC) Starts Jan. 6
Introduction to Biblical Languages
A review of English grammar, and an introduction to basics of Biblical Greek and Hebrew: alphabet, vocabulary, and basic grammar (Tue. 5:30 p.m. Ken Francis at MBBC) Starts Jan. 22
Discipleship
An examination of Christ’s instructions for making disciples with an emphasis on personal application in our life and training others (Tue., Thu. 7:00 p.m. Pat Briney at CDM) Starts Jan. 8
SEMINARS
Ceremonies for Ministers
Introduction and guidelines to most ceremonies ministers may be called upon to perform, including weddings, funerals, and various church functions (Sat., Feb. 9 Pat Briney, Tom Hardin, Otis Robinson, Ken Francis at MBBC )
Biblical Christian Living
A practical study of how to bring one’s life into conformance with Biblical teaching, including: spiritual disciplines, personal goals, critical thinking skills, personal relationships, finances, etc. (Sat., Mar. 9 Gary McHenry at MBBC)
MBBC Discipleship Conference
A three-day seminar examining cultural impact of and the Biblical principles of discipleship including special speakers and small group discussions. (Mar. 19 – 21, Several Speakers at MBBC)
